call 573-445-6131 and talk to Carla. A not for profit, fair trade, gift shop assisting artisans and farmers in developing countries make a fair and living wage under safe working conditions. All products bear a fair trade label. No funds stay with the Global Market, all money is used for economic development for people living in poverty. Our first goal is to sell as much as possible so we can buy more, that is the main way to assist people. Secondly we use our small profit to uplift people. Presently we are focusing on education. We support 6 scholarships for students in Nicaragua. We donate to the local Fun City summer educational program, and many other things. Come by and we'll talk with you. WE also give programs to groups about our store and fair trade. You can bring a group to the market, or we can travel.

I just made a personal donation to this wonderful woman who helped found UPAVIM. I was able to visit in Guatemala some years ago to see this great ministry. We sell UPAVIM products in The Global Market. Another woman who has made the world a better place. Celebrating her 90 years!
