This is such a strong new release week at the shop. It seems like the second issues of stellar series are taking over! Number 2 of Absolute Green Arrow, Odin, If Destruction Be Our Lot, and Of the Earth are all excellent. Someone might have to explain Odin to me after this issue though haha. I actually think that Of the Earth is one of my favorite new titles.
My favorite reading experience of the week is The Trillion Dollar Kid by Geoff Johns. This is the latest addition to the Ghost Machine imprint at Image Comics . The artwork is amazing and the story is extremely intriguing.

It is an exciting new release week at the shop.

Absolute Green Arrow 1 is (unsurprisingly) awesome!

is hitting us with a couple of epic first issues with Odin and Of the Earth.

If you enjoyed the Dungeon Crawler Carl FCBD book, the first trade paperback is out and we have a limited amount available.

In addition to the new release comics, we also have a limited amount of a beautiful Dr. Doom graphic comic box.

The shop is open 11-7 on (Wednesdays), see you then.

Unfortunate update for some of this week's DC releases:
DC had a printing issue and all copies of Absolute Batman 20, Absolute Martian ManHunter 11, and Barbara Gordon Breakout 1 are damaged. This is not exclusive to our shop; the distributor said that all copies are like that. As of this post, they are still waiting to hear from DC about a resolution.

UPDATE:
All issues are still out for sale and in everyone's pull box. Anyone who purchases a Cover A this week from the store can come in on June 3rd and get a 2nd print Cover A for free. I will make sure to get everyone's name who bought one so I can keep things in order. DC Comics is providing these 2nd prints as a courtesy for the defects.
