The problem with making vases is that once in a while one turns out so pretty that I just don’t want to part with it. I am loving the purple tones on this one however it doesnt go with anything in our house. It’s 10.5” high and roughly 6” in diameter at the largest section. (The white stripe is just the light reflection)

Back in the crafting mood this past week and have a few paint pour vases curing before I do the seal coat.

Yes, they are upside down as the paint on the bottom is still slightly tacky. Once they cure for a few more days , I will seal them with a UV protectant clear coat.

Tried a new technique this week with some small glass jars given to me by Dale Bigger. These were done with spray paint and hydro dipping! The first one I did was a little sloppy (the 3rd pic) but each one got a little better.

I made my favorite into a candle. What would you use these for? They are 3” in diameter and only about 1 1/2” high.

Oh my goodness! This tic tac toe board turned out so pretty!!! It has real dried flowers inside and is a translucent background with shades of blue and violet! This will be going up for sale on our Etsy store later today.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving! Haven’t been working on too many crafts the last few months as life has kept us too busy. I did make these a couple months ago though but didn’t post as one was a surprise gift for my sister.

These beachside tealight candle holders have actual sand from the shores of Lake Michigan in the bottom layer. Layers of blue, clear and whisps of white represent the waves. Topped off with an array of seashells.

Each is $15 or buy the set for $25.

One of the large hurricane vases I was given was slightly deformed and has a wobbly base, so I decided to spruce it up with some glass etching of some butterflies and dragon flies. Then I added a battery operated candle and some vine from the woods. May add some small pine cones if I can find a few still in good condition after the winter. Makes a pretty centerpiece on our table.

Finally getting around to finish up a couple vases I started well over a month ago. It’s been a crazy few weeks with busy schedules and a minor surgical procedure for me (all is good!)

The photos just do NOT do these justice. The red vase is roughly 5” high and 4” wide at the fullest part. Would be beautiful with a small Christmas arrangement of flowers.

The vibrant vase is 5 1/2” high and also 4” wide at the fullest section.

The purple and silver vase is just stunning in person! Multiple shades of purple, white and silver. I still need to finish the rim as a have some drips from the topcoat of resin. Can’t decide if I should leave the drips on this one of sand down….. what do you think? The purple vase is a larger one measuring 8” high and about 5” wide at the fullest section.

The smaller vases are $15 each and the larger is $25.

If anyone is interested, let me know asap as I will be listing these in my Etsy store in the next day or so.
