🚨 SCIOTO ARTS MARKET UPDATE 🚨
We’re continuing to monitor the weather and air quality forecast for tomorrow’s Scioto Arts Market at Land-Grant Brewing Co.’s Gravity Experience Park.
The good news is that the latest forecast shows a significant improvement overnight, with air quality expected to return to the Moderate range by Saturday morning, according to MORPC via AirNow. The forecast is also calling for dry weather during our market hours, with rain and thunderstorms not expected until later in the evening.
At this time, the market will move forward as planned from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the health and safety of our vendors, performers, volunteers, and guests remaining our highest priority.
Here’s what to know:
🎨 Vendors & Artists: The market will open as scheduled. If you have concerns about participating due to the air quality, please let us know as soon as possible.
🎶 Entertainment: The Clark Twins Band (11:00 AM-1:00 PM) and Angel Bee Facepainting are currently scheduled as planned.
👨👩👧 Guests: If you plan to attend, please pay attention to how you’re feeling throughout the day. Stay hydrated, take breaks as needed, and if you are especially sensitive to smoke or air quality, consider wearing an N95 or KN95 mask if you’ll be outdoors for an extended period.
🛍️ We look forward to welcoming you to a fun day featuring 25 local artists, makers, bakers, nonprofits, five food trucks, live music, and free facepainting for kids.
