I’ve become obsessed with Jenna Levine books because they usually make me cackle out loud multiple times while reading her vampire series so I was pumped when she was coming out with one about a grim reaper! (You will have a peek at a few characters from her previous books in this one too!)

I did enjoy this one, it was cute and funny. The characters were both funny and it did have some spice to it - but it is a SLOWWW burn. I liked how they both grew to like each other and the complicity of her arrangement with him in the first place. Although, I will say this didn’t feel as laugh-out-loud funny as her last ones did to me.

I do wonder if this will become a series of sorts because (without spoilers) - I was still left with some questions that I hope get answered in another book if not a continuation of this one.

I was so excited for this book because who doesn’t love an enemies to lovers + forced proximity romance???

It gave me everything I wanted and more!

They were so cute together and I loved getting to get glimpses back into this cute town seemingly filled with celestial beings.

There was so much tension and I just kept wanting to scream JUST KISS ALREADY 😩

DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!
