Before there was a genre, there was Sister Rosetta Tharpe — distorting a guitar and testifying over it while the men who’d get credited were still watching from the crowd. History cut her out of the photo.

Streetwear lost meaning to saturation. History lost it by design.

Robert Johnson sold his soul at a crossroads for the sound — then they built an entire genre on it and left his name in the dirt. Sister Rosetta was bending a guitar before Elvis ever held one. Chuck Berry wrote the blueprint. Little Richard screamed it into existence. The industry kept the sound and swapped the face on the poster.

The World Tour Tee from our Black Rockstar Collection is the merch relic from the tour they were never allowed to headline. Fourteen cities on the back for a route that was never permitted in its own time — running now, because the sound never needed permission.
