Emma Brennan, owner of Aroma Wellness Spa nestled in the Courtyard of Peace works hard to keep her aroma and meditation oriented spa, cafe, and gift-shop humming along.
Addison Lacey and friends are celebrating Addison’s soon to be divorce. The laughter, good food, and peaceful atmosphere is marred by Addison’s mother, Gianna, and her sharp, abusive tongue. Gianna can’t say a nice thing about anyone, particularly her daughter, the soon to be ex Wyatt, and her own husband O’Malley.
When Gianna turns up dead just days later, Emma puts on her sleuthing hat and begins to explore everyone’s alibis. Of course, she turns up lots of suspects and “pokes the bear”, so to speak.
