Farmers Grain Company, Farmers Cooperative Grain Association, Two Rivers Consumers Cooperative Association & CoMark Equity Alliance Announce New Partnership in Wellington, Kansas

WELLINGTON, Kansas, (May 13, 2026) - Wellington Grain Terminal LLC announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Scoular to acquire its two grain facilities located in Wellington, Kansas. The transaction is expected to close in May.

Wellington Grain Terminal, LLC is a new farmer owned partnership formed by Farmers Grain Company of Pond Creek, Oklahoma; Farmers Cooperative Grain Association of Conway Springs, Kansas; Two Rivers Consumers Cooperative Association of Arkansas City, Kansas; and CoMark Equity Alliance (CEA) of Enid, Oklahoma.

The Wellington facilities will enable all partners to expand their footprint across south-central Kansas, as well as connecting the valued patrons of the Wellington Grain Terminal cooperative network to global and domestic trade opportunities. Wellington Grain Terminal will continue to develop the strong relationships each partner has with their producer base, along with opening doors to all commercial grain trading partners with a 4-million-bushel rail terminal.

“This is an acquisition we’re incredibly excited about” said Scott Keller, CEO of CoMark Equity Alliance. “We will bring cooperative partners together to benefit our ultimate owner, the producer, who is the backbone of our business. CEA will continue to strategically look at opportunities to create long-term success for our 14,000+ producer owners by efficiently bringing them closer to the end user, whether that be domestically, or globally.

We have aggressively realigned CoMark Equity Alliance to become the trading company our owners and customers expect. I’m proud of the expertise our team has and with their experience we will continue to work with our strategic partners in this industry to become an origination and trading company that benefits all.”

Travis Neal, CEO of Farmers Grain Company, said, “This acquisition continues the commitment to provide an efficient avenue for our owner’s products to supply our end users as proficiently as possible and reaffirms FGC’s dedication to our Kansas members. We are also excited about creating stronger partnerships within the CEA membership to better all our companies.”

“With our partnership in the Wellington Grain Terminal, we expect beneficial logistic flexibility for our local operations. We look forward to the opportunity for growth in our area and the relationships that will be gained from this acquisition. This will ultimately bring more value back to our member owners who are at the center of all our decision-making processes.” said Chris Stevens, CEO of the Farmers Cooperative.

“The Wellington Terminal fits very well logistically with several of our locations and the customers in our trade territory. Increased access to a rail facility will be good for Two Rivers, my fellow partners in CEA and our customers.” said Kevin Kelly, CEO of Two Rivers Cooperative.

If you have questions on grain risk management offerings at the Wellington Grain Terminal, please contact CoMark Equity Alliance at 580-242-0515. The Wellington Grain Terminal partnership looks forward to serving the market with a progressive cooperative structure that’s focused on the success of its customers.
