Wild Cat is looking for a full-time Retail Event Coordinator to help bring our in-store events and off-site experiences to life! From festivals to workshops, pop-ups, and hands-on activities, this role is all about creating joyful experiences for our community. 💖

We’re looking for someone who is:

🛍️ Experienced in both retail customer service + general event coordination

Today is the day many of us are hitting the streets - in frustration, in solidarity, in light of the infinite ways our leadership has led our country astray. I like to think of No Kings protests as a community resource fair for the Left - you get out and meet neighbors who share your values, express your collective frustration, hear speakers from organizations working in your community, and gather information and education about actions that you can get involved with. It’s an entry point for so many people who have reached their boiling point and a source of support for people who feel isolated. Let this recharge us into the kind of sustained pressure and action needed to make change. We know a better world is possible and today, whether not you are on the street, we show collective support for it.

📢Today is the day to put that verb to use‼️Call your representative and tell them to VOTE NO ON HB 249 aka the “Drag Ban” in Ohio. This bill is headed to a committee vote tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25th at 9am and is likely to get a full floor vote in the House the same day.

House Bill 693 aka the “Parental Right to Harm” bill will be receiving testimony in the same committee tomorrow. According to .ohio :

“The Parental Right to Harm Bill would create an irrefutable right to transgender conversion therapy, block judges and child protective services from responding appropriately to abuse involving LGBTQ+ kids, threaten occupational licensure for doctors, teachers, and therapists who use gender-affirming language, and prevent child placement agencies from collecting data to make sure q***r kids in the child welfare system are placed in safe homes.”

Obviously neither of these bills are about protecting children and are actually about policing gender, controlling bodies, and criminalizing the LGBTQIA+ community. Your voice matters now more than ever - this is a fight we can win.
