Happy Labor Day! We are closed today, September 7th, for Labor Day to celebrate the hard work and dedication of workers everywhere. We’ll return back to our regular business hours tomorrow!

This week’s is a cello bow by Manoel Francisco, one of the best bow makers from Brazil. He’s been making bows for over 30 years. This bow has a horn frog instead of the usual ebony.

If you have a beginner violinist or violist in your family, remind them to take off their sponge shoulder rest from the instrument every time they put it away to avoid getting cracks like these. 😳
These are some of the worst cracks your violin or viola can get! Always take the extra time to make sure your instrument is stored safely. 🎻
