This is where your keepsake officially starts coming to life🤍

Once your flowers are fully dried and the design has been carefully planned, it’s time to begin the resin process. Each piece is poured layer by layer, allowing the resin to cure between pours while your flowers are carefully secured into their final placement.

It’s a slow process ~ but this is what creates the depth, dimension, and beautiful 3D look that makes each keepsake completely unique🌸

Your bouquet isn’t just being preserved. It’s becoming something you can hold onto forever.

Step 3: Designing Your Keepsake 🤍🌸

Once your flowers are fully dried, it’s time to start bringing your keepsake to life.

Each bloom is carefully removed from the silica, cleaned, and assessed before I begin designing. Then comes one of my favorite parts ~ arranging each flower by hand to create a design that feels balanced, beautiful, and true to your original bouquet.

No two bouquets are the same, which means no two keepsakes are either. Every placement is intentional, from the statement blooms down to the smallest pieces of greenery🤍

This is the moment your preserved flowers begin their transformation into something you’ll be able to treasure for years to come.

It’s an incredible privilege to be trusted with flowers that hold this much meaning ~ especially when they belong to someone so close to our own family.

Some bouquets are just meant to make a statement🌸🧡✨

These bright pink + golden roses came into the studio and I immediately fell in love with the color combination. And the little touches of baby’s breath? So good.🤍

Now comes my favorite part ~ carefully preserving each bloom so these colors and memories can live on long after the flowers themselves would have faded.

Welcome to From Bouquet to Forever, a new series where I’m taking you behind the scenes of the preservation process — one step at a time.

Step 1: Preparing Your Flowers ✂️

Before the drying process begins, each bouquet is carefully taken apart and every bloom is individually assessed and prepared. Stems are trimmed, damaged petals are removed when needed, and I select the flowers that will preserve best for your keepsake.

Some flowers hold more than memories. 🤍

These memorial flowers were entrusted to me to preserve into keepsakes that can be held onto for years to come.

Today, these pieces made their way home ~ a 4x6 floral photo frame and three ornaments made with the same meaningful blooms.

Memorial preservation will always hold such a special place in my heart. Being trusted with flowers from some of life’s hardest moments is something I never take lightly.
