We’re proud to share the work of Selah — the only student artist currently featured in our gallery at Folk Art Junction.

The depth, imagination, and confidence in these paintings speak for themselves, and we’re excited to watch this creative journey continue to unfold. Selah will also be set up as an artist vendor at the upcoming Crossroads Folk Art Festival on May 9th at Rose Hill Park in Columbus, Georgia.

Support young artists. Support original work. Support the future of folk and outsider art.

There’s something special about the artists we get to welcome through these doors… and Jennifer Culpepper is no exception.

Her work is full of color, movement, and feeling—you can see the joy, the strength, and the story in every piece. Jennifer brings a light with her that’s hard to put into words, but easy to feel the moment you’re around her art.

We’re so glad to have her at Folk Art Junction. Come experience it for yourself—you just might find a piece that speaks right to you. ✨

Joel Huff stopped by Folk Art Junction this week and brought in some beautiful new wood-fired pottery. Each piece carries those incredible surfaces that only happen in a wood kiln — shaped by clay, ash, and flame.

Joel was also recently featured in in an article about clay culture and cultivating community. We’re proud to have his work here with us.

Come by and see the new pieces in person.

Mark your calendars and pack your easels! 🎨🌿 We’re inviting local plein air painters to spend the day creating at Arts in the Park on Sunday, April 26 at beautiful Lakebottom Park.

There is something very powerful about watching artists interpret the world as it unfolds around them. As one of our plein air artists, your presence will become a valuable part of the experience we’d love for our community to share.

Because of this, Arts in the Park, the culminating celebration of ArtsFest, is seeking a group of artists who love to work outdoors and respond to the immediacy of place. Oil, watercolor, pastel, mixed media. Established or emerging. All are welcome. If Columbus, Georgia’s art scene inspires you, we want you there!

✨ Registration is now open for plein air painters. Join us on April 26 at Lakebottom Park and help us paint a story to remember. Secure your spot and register today at the link below.
