HEY ALL Y'ALL HOT POSSUMS!!
THANK YOUUUU for making the third annual Possumtown Book Fest such a spectacular day!๐ We had the BEST time celebrating the love of books with you!!โค๏ธ๐
We welcomed nearly 1200 people from every corner of Mississippi, from as far away as Montana, and even from the UK and Japan! ๐๐บ๏ธ
We showcased 47 authors from genres spanning poetry and prose โ from kids' books to cookbooks, literature to literary role-playing games, and historical fiction to horror!

We gave away 50 picture books to children at storytime, provided free copies of festival books to 10 libraries in the Golden Triangle Region, and held a signup drive for the Lowndes County Imagination Library! ๐๐
We're so so grateful that y'all made this not only a new record-breaking day of book sales for FCB, but also for making this our most joyful, community-uplifting book fest yet! The vibes were๐๐ค 10/10 no notesโค๏ธ
And all of this would not have been possible without the help of over 30 volunteers and support from 54 sponsors and counting. Truly, y'all are rock stars and we ๐ you!!
We're now back to regularly scheduled programming here at the store, but don't worry - we have some fun things planned for the fall and holiday season! Stay tuned here and keep an eye on our website.๐
