I have been dreading having to verbalize my last 2 weeks. On Valentine’s Day my heart got forever broken. We lost my Mawmaw Linda suddenly and unexpectedly. She was my muse, my cheerleader, my confidant, my favorite artist, my favorite person, and my best friend. This woman showed me what creativity, magic, love, and resilience looks like all through the lense of her ocean blue eyes. Her “don’t let the bastards get you down…” attitude is the reason I still hold so tightly to my whimsy. She helped heal my inner child even at 40 years old. I would not be the person or business owner that I am without her guidance and the portrayal of entrepreneurship I was so blessed to grow up around. Her wisdom was not just bestowed on me but my friend circle as well being nicknamed Grandmother Willow after Pocahontas’s willow tree. While I will miss our deep conversations about what happens after this physical timeline, I am so grateful to have had every conversation I would like to have ever had with my grandmother. I have zero regrets and I challenge everyone to give their loved ones their flowers while they are still living.💖 Do the things you want to do. Say what you want to say. Ask the questions, learn the lore. Then honor it. 🙏 I will continue to honor her by living my dream as a shop owner just like she did. Her shop was a safe space for so many just like The Vibe is. The Vintage Years walked so The Vibe on 6th could run. 🤘 Please keep me and my family in your hearts as we face the challenge of grieving this tremendous loss. 💔

I have put this post off for quite a while now. I think one of the hardest parts about running businesses and brands like mine is the fact that you have to give soooo much of yourself. Your ideas, vision, time and self even when you aren’t 100%. This is me and where I’m at. In this loud and sometimes dystopian world we live in I have somehow managed to make a safe space for not just myself but others in 2025. and the bus are a safe space in a harsh world. They are my sanctuary, my church, my saving Grace in a year that was riddled with uncertainty. I challenge everyone in 2026 to trust yourself more than the noise. You are more than the opinions of others. You are more than what people think and perceive you as. And you are more than the chaos of others. Stay soft take no sh*t….cheers to 2026! ✨
