We finally made it to Comfort Pizza at 802 High Street in Comfort, TX—and it lives up to the hype.

We visited during an off time, but usually you're going to want to call ahead and reserve your dough, because it might sell out. It’s THAT good.

Every pie is slow-proofed over multiple days using heritage wild sourdough yeast, then handmade in their 30-ton, old-world forno a legna oven.

Comfort Pizza is part of the Slow Food movement—so don’t expect fast food. Expect great food. And maybe the best pizza in Kendall County? 🤔
