The Tinsmith's Wife is a family-owned shop focused on sharing the best materials and instruction to fuel your passion to create. We have materials for knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, and now punch needle! For knitting and crochet, we specialize in carrying a wide variety of independent dyers (e.g., Yarn Carnival, Bronotta Yarns, Black Trillium, Meadowcroft Dyeworks) as well as some of the larger names in yarn (e.g., Berroco, Rowan, Manos). For cross stitch we have a great variety of primitive and classic stitching patterns, along with gorgeous linens (R&R, Weeks, Lakeside), and fibers from Weeks, Crescent Colors, Valdani, and others. We have recently expanded our cross stitch room to allow a great exploration of our goodies. Needlepoint continues to grow with a great variety of canvases and the fibers to make them shine! In all - we are delighted at how our shop as come together, and we are nestled within the wonderful historic town of Comfort!
