Legal Research (today):

Generally, a spouse needs the other's consent or a court order to sell the marital home, *even if it's in one spouse's name*. If the couple is going through a divorce, the courts will usually split community property, which includes assets acquired during the marriage, in half between the spouses. This includes the marital home.
If one spouse sells the marital home without the other's permission during a divorce, it's considered *illegal*. Financial transactions often create a paper trail that can be discovered by the court during a divorce trial, and the funds will be divided between the spouses. For example, selling real estate involves working with notaries and realtors, which creates paperwork.
If the couple can't agree on how to sell the home, the court may intervene and order a forced sale or partition sale. The court will also decide how to divide the proceeds.

About The Green Willow/Products:

The majority of soaps on the mass market contain lye: NaOH (sodium hydroxide), a drying agent. This robs the skin of its natural moisture barrier, leading to the use of additional products to restore the skin's natural moisture-retaining barrier.
Although an effective emulsifier, lye is, nonetheless, a compound that dries the oils out of your skin. However, there ARE non-lye, natural emulsifiers (which I use). These allow for the skin to absorb the moisture and oils from natural soaps (such as aloe vera and goat's milk). This further allows the skin to retain its natural moisture barrier.
Alongside my soaps, I have introduced a line of sugar scrubs, made with food-grade oils, for exfoliating and moisturizing. I use these alongside my hydrosol-oil-infused fragrances. Dry skin "drinks" the oils and the feeling is "luxury spa".
My fragrances and colorants are vegetable-botanical-derived, with the fragrances being hydrosols infused into carrier oils, such as (my favorite) almond oil, food-grade ONLY.
They are, ALL, phthalate-free and skin safe, unlike essential oils that need to be diluted in specific ratios to prevent phototoxicity and sensitization. Some essential oils are downright volatile, as well, and NOT a safe alternative for applying to the skin.
As my garden produces many of the floral, botanical and herbal fragrances you will find here, also, I must give credit to my friend, Cindy Novak, for her creative contributions in making some amazing blended hydrosol-oils, as well!

1. Essential oils are natural, but MUST be diluted & each has its own ratio;
2. Just because you put goat's milk WITH lye does not mean you have a GENTLE soap;
3. There are other natural, gentler emulsifiers than lye; there are other natural colorants, besides clay & mica; and there IS a way to produce a superior soap...but, it takes getting the required education, not a Pinterest recipe!

Wow! I didn't realize just how uninformed some people are! ALL soap colors do NOT come from clay nor mica! What I use is 100% plants! And, ESSENTIAL OILS are oftentimes VOLATILE & not suited for skin! I am exceptionally selective when it comes to my fragrances and they not only must be all-natural, but also phthalate-free and SKIN SAFE! You cannot put lavender essential oil directly on your skin! You should not put essential oils directly onto your skin unless you KNOW, as an Herbalist/Herbalogist HOW to dilute them! Soap base does NOT dilute them! Lord in Heaven, help me! Don't risk that with yourself & especially not your "valued" customers!
