Twenty-five years ago today, ordinary people ran toward danger for strangers. September 11 is Patriot Day — and it's also the National Day of Service and Remembrance, a call to answer that morning with something constructive.

Dr. John’s is a family-owned company that started with a simple idea: candy shouldn't have to be bad for you. Service has been part of that from the beginning — a portion of every purchase goes to charities supporting children's health.

All of our candy is individually wrapped, so they travel well to a volunteer shift, a firehouse drop-off, a classroom, or a neighborhood cleanup.

Every Dr. John's sweet is made in the USA. That's been true since day one, and it's not something we advertise loudly most of the year. Today felt like the day to mention it.
