A nation that doesn’t know its past is doomed to repeat it. I flew into Boston yesterday for work and I was able to participate on the Official Freedom Trail Tour. I had originally booked a spot for the 1pm tour and they so graciously let me join the 2pm tour when my flight was delayed.

is a bit internet famous and it is easy to understand why! No one handed him a Mountain Dew yesterday but he did have a few people stop us for a picture. He took us through the tour and shared details and history in a way that recognizes the areas as a nation we could have done better while also bringing the story leading up to the Revolution to life.

Thanks to growing up in I’ve known the stories for a long time. Yesterday brought the details to life.

What a privilege to attend the Dream Create Grow Foundation gala tonight. Paula J. Yost, Author brought the key note message and it was powerful! I’m so thankful to live in a world with advocates like Paula! This foundation is doing the important work of providing equipment and services to children in our community. The Star of the Show fashion show was amazing!!!

Y’all have heard me talk about Elegantees | ethical fashion for years now! I wear something Elegantees several times a week! I’m recapping the pieces I’ve worn this summer. This isn’t all of them these are just the times I remembered to take a picture. When you purchase from Elegantees you become a part of the solution and you take a stand against human trafficking. Sometimes it’s as simple as choosing to support a brand or business that is also a mission!

Last Thursday I visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art and had the opportunity to explore the Costume Art exhibit. As we were walking in I was ridiculously excited! I don’t remember a time when I haven’t loved clothes and fashion! I read ALL the details!!! Thank you to my friends who allowed me to take my time through this incredible experience!!! Also, the hot dog we shared outside before going in was fantastic!!!
