Back by popular demand, we will be offering Mind Earth's Needle Felt on a Bag class on Saturday, October 31st from 10am-1pm. Cost is $160 (includes bag).

Learn how to 2D needle felt while adorning a handmade felt bag. Fun and functional, choose from Marina's many design ideas or submit your own! This class is always a blast and students will leave with a gorgeous and unique felt bag perfect for holding crafting projects or for gifting during the upcoming season. Inspiration below. We can't wait to see what you create!

On a final class note: There are still some spots remaining in our Saturday workshop classes running through October- Explore the world of yarn, learn tips and tricks for tubular edges, deep dive into short rows, cabling, tunisian crochet or brioche knitting! We have finalized our class line up for the upcoming fall season and have a couple new offerings to share:

Join Pat Watson for a dive into miniature:
Learn the art of modular knitting while working up a sweet little Heart Sachet for gifting or adorning. Add lavendar for an extra special knit. Class runs three Tuesdays, October 20-November 3 from 1-3pm. Cost is $80.

Then, learn how to knit a sock, hat or mitten...In miniature! These Tiny Ornaments are perfect for the upcoming holiday season and are a great introduction to knitting these accessories. Never turned a heel or worked a gusset? This class is for you! Class runs four Tuesdays, November 10-December 1 from 1-3pm. Cost is $95.

We are so grateful to partner with The Common Man for Ukraine again this year to distribute warmth and love to those in need!
This fall we will once again be collecting hand knit/crocheted wool hats, mittens and socks for children and adults living in the war torn country of Ukraine (please, no scarves).

Donations can be dropped off at The Elegant Ewe from now until November 1st at which point TCMU will pack up your gestures of hope and care to distribute to the people of Ukraine at the start of their cold winter season. Many have already asked if/when we will be collecting this year: The time has come, good friends- Thank you for you generosity!

Work up a pullover or cardigan (your choice) to fit an 18 inch doll over a 4 week time frame while learning shaping, picking up stitches, seaming and even buttonholes. Wednesday evening Knitting Project of Choice with Linda 5-7pm beginning this coming August 26th and running through September 23rd...3 spots remaining!

Tuesday evening Crochet Project of Choice with Kristen 5-7pm beginning September 8th and running through September 29th...4 spots remaining!

Thursday morning Knitting Project of Choice with Sarah 10:30am-12:30pm beginning this coming September 10th and running through October 1st...1 spot remaining!

Project of Choice classes are perfect for brand new, never knit or crocheted before beginners as well as more experienced stitchers looking to hone their skills or try a new technique.

We have been working hard on our 2026 Fall Class Line Up and are pleased to announce most classes have been posted online this week. You can visit our Class Listing page for all the information- Highlights include a new Tuesday evening 5-7pm Crochet Project of Choice class with Kristen Lewis who many of you may know from her wonderful crochet fidget patterns and her area workshops with adults and kids alike; Our fantastic Friday morning Knitting Project of Choice instructor Sarah has added a Thursday morning 10:30am-12:30pm class to her offerings; And we are thrilled to be holding a Saturday morning workshop series this fall including Tunisian Crochet, Tubular Cast On/Bind Off, Short Rows, Cables & Lace, Knitting Brioche Stitch and an interesting and informative lecture style class on 'The World of Yarn'. Please note: Space is limited in these one day workshops.

Stay tuned for a 'Knitted Minis' class series to be released next week.
