It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating 1,000 — and here we are already at 1,400, gearing up for Belmont's grand opening. The Hearth's flame keeps growing brighter, and it's because of every single one of you who's pulled up a chair, joined a draft, entered an event, or just stopped by to say hi.

THIS WEEK AT COSMIC HEARTH 🗓️

Commander League Week Start hits Monday in Pineville and Thursday in Concord — bring your decks and get building! Also big news: The Hobbit Play Boosters land later this week at both locations.

This week's highlights: One Piece Pirate Party Monday in Concord, MTG 2HG Hobbit Draft Tuesday in Concord, Riftbound Nexus Night Thursday in Concord, Sorcery Win-A-Box Saturday in Concord, and a Dice Throne Tournament Sunday in Concord. Pineville's got Sorcery, Lorcana, Board Game Night, Mahjong, Pokémon, and a Hobbit Draft Friday, plus the full weekend lineup of Gundam, Star Wars, and One Piece.

Open play every day at both locations. Come Gather. Play. Unwind.

This is a fixture until y'all stop showing up down in Pineville! We want to be the way you start the week. Get your MTG Commander League games in (new week starts today!) or play one of our free games on the shelf. We also just got in a handful of new board games for you to check out. Protagonist's Bagginses beer is on tap as well as some new hard seltzers in the fridge to really make it feel like the weekend.

This was THE first ever LGS sponsored MTG prerelease event at a brewery in Charlotte and you showed up, in some big numbers (40+)! We had to make room for more people than we anticipated but, that’s the magic of The Hearth in all honesty. Truly thankful for the community you’ve helped shaped with us. This is the beginning of something big for the area and the community and we are thankful to do it with you. Truly.

A special thank you to Protagonist Beer for hosting this and all of our Tuesday meetups so far and upcoming and to James Asher for helping to get all this set up and all the other behind the scenes stuff people don’t get to see.

Things like this don’t just happen so also a big and special thank you to YOU.
