Yesterday was Christmas in July. A bunch of people came into the building and said they didn’t even know about the event before they got here. So many cool things happen in downtown and I don’t want you to miss all of the fun stuff. Make sure you are following the Downtown Concord Instagram page and make sure you sign up for that newsletter if you’re local. It comes twice a month and I always enjoy finding out what’s going on in town. You can also regularly check the events calendar on the downtown‘s website.

Cabarrus Arts Council is about a block and a half from my shop and you have to go by October 10!!! How lucky are we to have an art gallery in town and how lucky are we to have this beautiful quilt exhibit?

I hosted 2 sewing classes last night. We made potato bags and then bowl cozies. Both classes were so much fun! Everyone left with really cute items that are for practical use in their everyday lives.
