Some New Year Eve’s you spend with family, or friends and your girlfriend having a good time at a party, concert or out to a nice supper. Other NYE’s you spend it with your fire department family looking out for your community.
Thank you to all the Law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, firefighters, tele-communicators, nurses, healthcare professionals and doctors that are working this evening to take care of our the folks in our communities we all serve.

We stopped by the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center for food truck Wednesday. Simply Smoked Catering & Mobile Grill was amazing. The Pig Stack bowl has the best Mac & cheese bbq and baked beans. The Mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever eaten and I’m a self proclaimed semi professional Mac & cheese connoisseur. I ended up saving my bbq samich for tomorrow’s breakfast or maybe lunch. My good friend Adam Peck and Mrs Bethany take a lot of pride in cooking up some amazing food. Y’all go follow their page to see when and where they are set up,and give them a try.
Remember, this country runs on small businesses, and is supporting them.

Well folks it’s that time of year again, that’s right, it’s marshmallow harvesting season, particularly the yellow jumbo marshmallows. I snapped a picture of some fresh marshmallows just harvested and will be heading to a store near you. By the looks of this operation there must be some good money in growing and harvesting marshmallows.
