🚨 COMMUNITY ALERT / HELP US SPREAD THE WORD 🚨
As many of you know, I own Vintage Memories directly across the street from the Brookford Police Department. You would think that being right across from the station would make our property one of the safest spots in town. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case.
For the second time in less than two months, our outdoor drink machine has been broken into and vandalized.
Brookford allocates over $220,000 of our tax dollars to the police department budget, yet business owners right under their noses still can't get basic protection. If crimes like this can happen repeatedly right across the street from the police station, it makes you wonder: how safe or protected is the rest of our town?
It is beyond frustrating to pay into a system, operate in plain view of the station, and still end up a repeat victim of crime with zero resolution. We work hard to keep our doors open and serve this community, but small businesses can't keep absorbing the costs of repeated theft and damage.
If anyone saw anything suspicious near the store or has any information regarding these break-ins, please send us a direct message. Please share this post to help raise awareness—our entire community and local businesses deserve better protection and accountability.
