Get Fictional

Bringing the spooky and fictional to life all year round! All you have to do is strike a match.

Stories take us beyond our own reality, throwing us into adventures, romances, thrilling rides, or spine-tingling horrors. The characters come to life within us, thriving on our emotions, allowing us to live a million different lives. As story lovers, our greatest desire is to be transported to our favorite fictions again and again, and that is the goal of Get Fictional. The sense of smell is a powerful thing, and it goes hand in hand with memories and emotions, so we strive to bring those fictional worlds to light with our soy candles.

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” C.S. Lewis

Curious Remedies is now in stock at Get Fictional! Penny hand-blends these loose-leaf teas with a literary twist. The tea/book/candle combo can’t be beat, and now you can get them all in one place!

There are seven flavors to choose from! And don’t forget to add a diffuser to the mix.

Which tea will you be brewing?

🪶 Crimson Quill (curated for Get Fictional): rose, hibiscus, cinnamon, damiana, vanilla bean, cocoa nibs, ginger root, cardamom pods, licorice root

📚 Chapter One: chamomile, lemon balm, holy bash, spearmint, peppermint, ashwagandha, passion flower, lavender

📖 The Last Chapter: chamomile, lemon balm, cat nip, passion flower, skull cap, valerian root, rose petals, lavender, ashwagandha, licorice

🖋️ Ink & Ivy: butterfly pea, hibiscus, rooibos, elderberries, lavender

🫖 Plot Twist: chamomile, lemon balm, rose petals, lavender, peppermint, cinnamon, ginger root

🌲 Lost in the Pines: cranberries, cinnamon, apples, rosehips, cloves, lemon peel, orange peel, calendula

☕️ Midnight Margins: chamomile, lemon balm, rooibos, rose petals, orange peel, cardamom pods, lavender, blue corn flower

I can tell you from personal experience that Penny’s tea is amazing, and I’m so happy to be carrying her bookish blends!

Happy Reading!

The scares don’t stop after October. I think the fall & winter months in general are perfect for gloomy consumption, and as such, I’ve created a short list of the books I’m most excited for that will be releasing through January.

You can pre-order these new horrors through me (to ship or pickup in store!), or check the listings for links to the audiobooks at http://Libro.fm! They support indie bookstores much in the same way as http://Bookshop.org.

🧛🏻‍♂️ Milkteeth by Caitlin Starling
