There will be three events at Waffles and Enthusiasm today (Wednesday, August 5, 2026):
• Riftbound Wednesday Nexus Night ($10 entry fee) at 7:00PM: Each player will receive one Vendetta​ Nexus Night promo pack and one 011/024 P Flash for participation. Format: Constructed. Best two-out-of-three 60 minute swiss rounds with no top cut; 3-0 record: x5 Vendetta booster packs; 2-0-1 record: x3 Vendetta booster packs; 2-1 record: x2 Vendetta booster packs; 1-1-1 record: x1 Vendetta booster pack. There is a possibility that we won't have enough Vendetta booster packs for prizes so there is a possibility that we would next to mix in Unleashed booster packs in the prize pool. If there are at least eight players in the tournament, we will raffle the opportunity for one player to purchase one Origins booster box for $125 + tax to the players who played in all of the swiss rounds of the tournament. Due to other events that we're also running on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the August 12th Nexus Night will be capped at 12 players. At this point, the Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 7:00PM Nexus Night has reached the 12 player cap. Anyone else who wants to sign up for the August 12th Nexus Night will be added to a Waiting List. If there is table space to increase the cap or someone unregisters from the tournament, the players from the Waiting List would be added to this tournament. • Magic the Gathering The Hobbit Prerelease Tournament #2 ($40 entry fee) at 7:00PM: Each player will receive one The Hobbit Prerelease Pack to build a 40 card deck with. Format: Sealed. Best two-out-of-three 50 minute swiss rounds with no top cut. For each match that a player wins, that player wins two The Hobbit Play Booster packs. Players will reserve a spot for the Wednesday, August 12, 2026 prerelease tournament by signing up for this tournament on the Companion app with code J2MDQX8 and pay in the store during the day of the tournament. We want to thank all of the One Piece players for the continuing support at Waffles and Enthusiasm ❤️. At this point, it appears that the number of eligible players for the OP17 Release Tournaments has reached capacity. We will continue with the four tournament OP16 box incentive (while supplies last) and the OP13 box raffle at tournaments (while supplies last).
