Make Music Day

String Together
NAMM FoundationMake Music Day

Free events to improve your guitar playing – no strings attached!
One of the best and easiest ways to improve the sound of your guitar is putting on a fresh set of strings—and no matter your skill level, from beginner to seasoned player, this event is for you.

Come to any participating String Together store on Make Music Day (events on June 20) and attend a free string-changing session that comes with a free set of the new Elixir® Attune™ Strings (for the first 12 registrants at each store). All are welcome—whether you’ve never changed your strings before or you’re a more experienced player looking to pick up a few tips from a pro guitar tech.

Building on decades of innovation, the Elixir Attune Strings are a next-generation acoustic set with a crisp, clear voice and a remarkably natural feel, without sacrificing long-lasting tone. Powered by proprietary technology, Attune feels nearly uncoated while delivering exceptional durability—redefining what players can expect from coated strings.

Find your nearest participating music store below and contact them to reserve your spot. Date of event is retailer specific, please see individual event listing for details.

Use and show us your fresh strings!
