Weaving is one of the oldest crafts humans have engaged in, using natural materials of many sorts to create baskets, blankets, clothing and art for millennia. Much of what has been made of course disintegrates over time except for a few lucky finds of preserved textiles and baskets. 🧺 Hence, it feels like a natural next step for Medina to lean in to more woven arts to complement our baskets- rugs, pillows, and collectible from around the world. We are so excited to partner with Peruvian artisans and Moroccan weavers to start bringing one of a kind pillows and rugs for wholesale and retail! We will begin listing our unique collectible pieces for sale on our sites, and here if you feel like reaching out directly! Textiles in natural fibers bring a warmth and texture to our homes sorely missing with many commercial weaving and we are so excited to get to work with some of our favorite materials and artisans.

Twice a year we get to leave the mountains for the Big City and pull out all our dress up clothes to pretend we still have that urban edge. Atlanta is becoming a favorite destination and we love seeing our customers at - it’s so great to put faces to names! We have some great new pieces for the season including the most amazing all natural hand woven wool@pieces from Peru via Table of Clay. At with new pieces for Fall, including launching our collaboration with Table of Clay and their gorgeous! hand woven Andean wool rugs and pillows. Each one is unique, rich, subtle and an amazing addition to the textured and well designed space. Artisan made, natural materials and sustainability continue to be our focus on all our pieces, including our recycled Tea Glasses and all our baskets!
