How do you colour BLACK without losing all the detail?

I’ll show you how I use different Copic grey families to create separation, depth and visual interest in an outfit made primarily of black and very dark tones. We’ll explore how Cool Greys, Neutral Greys and Toner Greys each behave differently and how the right choices can keep a dark image from looking flat or becoming one solid mass.

A little gothic romance with our NEW Gothic Frame Die. 🖤🌹

Kevin created this beautifully moody card using the Gothic Frame Die from our August release, Forever Wonderfully Weird!

The ornate frame takes centre stage, paired with a dramatic silhouette, deep burgundy tones, candlelight, roses, a spiderweb and layered patterned papers to create an eerie, romantic Victorian feel.

We especially love the ivory frame against the darker background. It really shows off all those intricate details and proves just how much of a statement this die can make on a card!
