Join us at the Coralville Public Library on Thursday, September 10th for a FREE community meal hosted by The Coralville Community Food Pantry from 5:00pm-7:00pm on the library's front lawn.

This meal is a kickoff celebration of the 10-day long Welcome Week in Johnson County. The goal of the meal is to cultivate solidarity, celebrate diversity, and fostering a welcoming environment within our community by sharing a nourishing meal with our neighbors. Vegan & gluten-free options will be available

We will be tagging & releasing Monarch butterflies for FREE. Learn how Monarchs are tagged, registered, & released to study and protect migration routes. If tagging a butterfly, you will receive a certificate with the codes and information on Monarch Watch to track your butterfly. We will tag from 5pm-6pm. Butterflies will be released at 6pm.

Bring your picnic blanket, lawn chairs, gather your friends & family, and come enjoy delicious food, good conversation, & experience life butterflies!
