How cute is this water-resistant book sleeve??

Made with nylon, a waterproof zipper, and some tears, I think it’s safe to say this book sleeve came out so cute! Also, note the little wave patch on the back. I needed to figure out a way to tack the fabric to the batting and didn’t trust myself to sew in the ditch 😅

Not bad for trying out a random idea without a pattern though 🩵🩷

When your husband’s good friend who also happens to be a big fan is expecting, the assignment is clear.

This pattern by Daisy Farm Craft was too good to pass up! The monotone texture goes so well with the checkered minky backing from Spoonflower. We knew it was meant to be, too, when I just so happened to have a matching piece of fabric to sew around the patch from Old Scratch Jackets! This is probably, hands-down, my favorite blanket to-date.

Also, the care card came together so nicely, too! I took some pieces of the baby shower invitation and added it to the instructions. 💛
