Corbett Hill Mercantile My name is Amy Sievert and the owner of Shine Candle Company located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, East of Portland, Oregon.

Shine was born in 2004 while I was residing in New Hampshire. We lived in a house built in the late 1700's and the cellar was filled with old antique canning jars. I was concerned about the toxicity of petroleum based candles burning in our home, and while researching options, all of those old canning jars soon became candles. I started hand pouring them in my barn. All of my candles are hand po

ured with all natural soy wax using cotton fiber lead and zinc free wicking. All containers are either recycled glass or repurposed. I do offer custom orders as well as refilling!
