This chapter is now closed. The past few months have been a lot of work but I'm thankful for every minute spent doing live videos, going through boxes and boxes and more boxes of books, liquidating merchandise, finding treasures in every nook and cranny of a 36-year legacy, packing and loading out boxes, reminiscing with customers and friends, laughing at all the stories and just soaking up every little thing that will always be Books with A'Peal. 🍎📚🫶
To answer a few questions... 1- the sign is in a safe place. If you'd like to see it and reminisce, you'll be able to find it Boling Farm Supply in the near future; 2- every last book found a home and we were able to bless some local non-profits and libraries in the process; 3- yes, we still have some Cornelia t-shirts. Send a private message if you'd like to purchase one. 4- no idea what will take our space but we hope it will be another small business that loves Cornelia as much as we do (and maybe even keep the apple on the wall 😉)
It would only be fitting to close out this chapter like we have every Christmas Eve with our traditional last customer being Rob Moore. Thank you for all the love over the years!!
I'm blessed to have been able to close this chapter for my sweet Mom and my Dad too.
