Like you, all of us at Lafeber love our feathered family members, and we want the best for them. For over 50 years, you’ve entrusted us with making premium, high-quality food, and we thank you for that trust.
Last year, and particularly at the beginning of the year, costs of ingredients and raw materials have increased significantly. We select high-quality, human-grade ingredients — our fruits and vegetables are at a quality level higher than found in many grocery stores.
Faced between keeping prices the same and using lower-quality ingredients or increasing prices to maintain the quality you expect from us, we choose to continue using the best ingredients for our foods. The good health of pet family members is and continues to be our primary focus. This unfortunately means we now face the painful reality that a price increase is needed, which will go into effect in one month, on October 1, 2026.
We value your loyalty, which is why we wanted to be fully transparent and provide advance notice so that you can buy your bird’s favorite foods before October 1.
