Hello, ladies!
Have you been to your doctor and had your hormones "checked" with a blood test?
Here is one of the most frustrating sentences some of you hear from your doctor:
“Everything looks normal.”
In the meantime....You are exhausted at 10:00 a.m. Your brain is either racing like it is in the Kentucky Derby OR it is in a gray, dense fog...What am I doing in the kitchen ...I meant to go to the bathroom!
The weight around your middle has moved in, changed the locks,and refuses to pay rent...Just there to torment you!
Somewhere your libido is living its best life...without you!
Your mood has taken hostages in your household!
But...hey...Your labs are "normal" Ladies, You can be HIGH normal in one hormone and LOW normal in another hormone...so your balance is therefore not normal.
It is the RATIO between your hormones that is key. Hormones work together...Progesterone, Estrogen, Cortisol, Melatonin, testosterone, DHEA.
So...your labs are Normal and you are sent home. I have had ladies been told "You need a Psychiatrist" No, no, no!

Hello, darling friends.
Today, I am so deeply saddened by the death of Dolly Parton (our loss, Heaven's gain).
I have admired her for so many years. She always took the time to be kind and she loved to share something personal. And her Grace was abounding. I am surprised at how sad I feel as I never met her but felt her spirit and I have embraced it I also love to open up to my "peeps" Even though I cannot sing worth a hoot, I can write... She made it look easy, but it is not. Thoughts translated to paper can be difficult, but Dolly did it with ease. AND to song!
Today I was taping a video for my YouTube channel and my Director said "I think you have too much jewelry on" I instantly replied "Would you say this to Dolly Parton??" He said, with chagrin, "No, never mind...Leave it all on" Ha! Yay!
Thank you to Dolly who has inspired me and women around the world to be themselves. Whether you keep your necklace on, wear makeup that your family says is "too much", wear no makeup, wear sparkles galore or no sparkles...We are perfectly US, And that was Dolly's message and I pass it along today. Be your GLORIOUS self. There is only one YOU!

Hello my darling friends! Barbara here!
I received an email this week that stopped me in my tracks.
