If you know me, you know how much I love helping others. But I cannot do it alone. I am just one single mama with a big heart, a big vision and a community that needs our help. ❤️

Through Magical New Beginnings, we have already been able to help some amazing individuals and families. I want to continue helping, reach even more people and build programs our community can rely on.

We are asking for cash donations to help us:

💖 Continue our permanent voucher program
🧷 Purchase diapers in the sizes families need most
🧼 Begin providing baby wipes
🥫 Add nonperishable food
🎄 Sponsor families for Christmas
🐰 Sponsor families for Easter

Our voucher program is here to stay. A $10 donation can provide someone with a voucher for 20 items worth up to $180 from our store.

Every dollar donated will go toward these causes. Whether you can give $1, $5, $10 or more, it all adds up and it all matters.

Cash donations can be brought inside the store during business hours:

⭐ GOLD STAR BEHAVIOR AT MAGICAL NEW BEGINNINGS ⭐

For us, gold star behavior means using our store to make a real difference:

💚 Keeping most of our store priced under $10 so families can afford the things they need

✨ Growing the 10:20 Movement, where every $10 donation sponsors 20 eligible items worth up to approximately $180. Magical New Beginnings covers the remaining value.

👶 Giving babies free diapers when available

🍼 Providing free, unopened and unexpired formula when available

🌎 Supporting people in need both near and far

We believe help should come with dignity and choice. Families receiving assistance get to choose the eligible items, sizes and styles that work for them.

We are always accepting donations of larger sized diapers, Pull Ups, baby wipes and unopened, unexpired formula.

Please share this post. You never know who may need help or who may be looking for a way to give. 💕✨

✨ FIVE FAMILIES ARE WAITING FOR VOUCHERS ✨

We are protecting their names while sharing their complete stories in their own words.

💖 ANONYMOUS FAMILY 1

“We just had our second child in April and it’s been a bit of a shock having 2 under 2 and We’re struggling postpartum and just need a little extra help especially with how fast both kids are growing and the cold seasons coming up and with my body changes postpartum I need clothes that fit a bit better. I was really hoping if I got these vouchers I can get some clothes for the kids to fit into and grow into and get myself new clothes for my new postpartum body so I can feel a bit more confident I really appreciate everything you guys do thank you so much.”

💙 ANONYMOUS FAMILY 2

“Like many families, recent financial pressures have made it tough to keep up with everyday necessities. Having access to this support would relieve a huge weight from our shoulders and allow us to focus on taking care of our home and our son. We are deeply grateful to any sponsors and supporters who make this voucher program possible for families working hard to stay on their feet.”

💚 ANONYMOUS FAMILY 3

“I’m a single mom raising my toddler on my own, and money has been tight lately. He has recently outgrown most of his pants and really needs clothes that fit him. Any help with clothing would mean a lot to us and would take some financial stress off while I make sure he has what he needs. I am very grateful for any support or help that we may receive.”

💖 ANONYMOUS FAMILY 4

“I would like to stay anonymous!

A lil on my situation this lady rented us a room in her apartment we paid 1000 rent she didn’t tell us her lease was gonna be up and when we got home on Saturday from a day out the locks were changed she stole all our stuff and what she didn’t want she threw all our stuff away in the apartment dumpster I made police report and I also contacted manager but he said he couldn’t do nothing since he didn’t know she was renting a room in her apt so we stayed in the car for 3 days and today I was able to rent this room here in Riverside for 950 plus deposit its been difficult.”

💙 ANONYMOUS FAMILY 5

“We have been living in a motel for a while. We were able to pay the rent to move but not the deposit. We finally thought we were able to move in 2020. My partner and my kids dad died suddenly August 2020. It was hard to deal with grief and try to keep everything together. It’s was hard to live we managed. Then this year in April one of my sons moved out. Things got harder. My son and 2 daughters work and need clothes to wear to work. They wear regular clothes to work. My son needs steel toe boots or shoes for his job. The ones he is wearing has holes on the bottom of his shoes.”

✨ HOW OUR VOUCHER PROGRAM WORKS

Our goal is to give every person in a household their own clothing voucher so they can choose approximately half a week’s worth of clothing in the correct sizes and styles for their needs.

We also try to provide each household with an additional shared voucher for household necessities, such as kitchen items, dishes, cookware, bedding and other available everyday essentials.

Families come into Magical New Beginnings and shop for themselves with the same freedom and dignity as paying customers. We do not choose their items for them.

Every $10 donation sponsors one voucher for 20 eligible items worth up to $180. Magical New Beginnings absorbs the remaining cost so every donation can make a much larger impact.

Larger households need multiple sponsors because we try to provide one clothing voucher for every family member, plus one household voucher for the family to share.
