The past few years building Made in Corpus Christi have been an incredible journey alongside this amazing community. What started as a simple idea to celebrate our Sparkling City grew into a nationally recognized, award-winning brand that became a symbol of local pride and connection.

But here’s the thing about Made in Corpus Christi...it was never just about the designs. It was about being HERE. Being part of the community. Being a part of the Gift Markets, setting up at .corpuschristi , being a part of ‘s Loca for Local markets,and feeling the pulse of what makes this city special. It was about those genuine connections and moments that happen when you’re truly embedded in a place.

That’s why, as tough as this is, we know it would be a disservice to this brand to try and continue running it from afar. Made in CC deserves someone who can give it the local presence and community connection that made it successful in the first place.

So today, we’re announcing something both emotional and exciting: we’re looking for the perfect person to carry on the Made in Corpus Christi legacy. ❤️

THANK YOU ALL for stopping in over the past week to help us start clearing our shelves and getting ready for our move.

A reminder…OUR RETAIL SHOP IS NOW CLOSED to the public so we can start packing and organizing both buildings to get them ready to sell. If you have orders to pick up, please message us here or email us and I’ll make sure you get your items!

Also, OUR WEBSITE WILL REMAIN OPEN! Shop anytime and your order will be shipped to you (free shipping, all the time)

The past 9 years have been filled with some truly exceptional experiences and opportunities for us through and Made in Corpus Christi. We were welcomed into the community and given a space to introduce some new (and sometimes a little crazy) ideas to the city. Because of this, I have met some of my absolute favorite people in the world here.

But…just like we knew it was the right time to start our businesses 7 years ago, we know now is the time for us to make some big life changes. We want our kids to be close to family. We miss big Sunday dinners. We want them to remember holiday gatherings like we did growing up. And so we’ve made the exciting but challenging decision to move to West Texas (Lubbock, to be specific).

I know there will be questions about the shops, so I’ll try and answer as many of them as I can in the slides.

One big thing to note…the last day the Made in Corpus Christi retail storefront will be open to the public will be Wed. Jan. 31.

The website will remain OPEN for retail shopping even after our move! We have shipped nationwide for years and that won’t change, but now shipping will be free!

To our team who helped build these beautiful brands over the years; to our customers who believed in what we were doing more than we did some days; and to our designers, makers and small business owners who allowed us to show off your talents in our shop over the years…THANK YOU. We were able to do all of this because of YOU.
