Reel Sportswear grew out of a small company that started out making shirts for local fisherman. Our values reflect those of a business started by a group of avid fisherman, and the minimalist style they promoted. The approach we take towards product design demonstrates a bias for simplicity and utility. The cornerstone belief that family, friends & community bind our industry together has been an

They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

We say, why fix it if it ain’t broke?

Some things are better left the way they’ve always been- like leaving before the sun comes up, wade fishing and long runs across the bay.

70 mph under dark skies, summer air ripping across your face, screaming engines and the idea that today may just be the day.

Capt-Brett Caron was headed for a shoreline with no people, no noise, and plenty of room to breathe. He’s got 25 years of early mornings under his belt and Capt. Caleb Sumrall following the same path. Safe to say we were doing it the right way.

Outlaws, pirates, Natives, and fishermen have been chasing something along these south Texas shoreline for generations.

We’re just keeping the tradition alive.

The REEL crew had a blast this past weekend at the 16th majek owners tournament. A big ole party, badass boats and the kind of people to give you the shirt off their back.

Some people find peace on pavement. We found it in knee deep mud chasing redfish around in back lakes.

The fish didn’t want to play and the mud tried stealing our boots with every step, but still beats sleeping in.
