Our beautiful new location is finally ready to welcome customers and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on for the past few months!

Prior to opening our doors to the public, we’re hosting an PRIVATE soft launch on Sept 17th just for members of our Insiders Club (and any guests you’d like to bring)!

If, during our closure, you’ve stockpiled empty jars for refills, this soft open is a perfect time to fill up as we anticipate longer lines at our grand opening that following weekend.

If you’re one of our Insiders, we want you to be one of the first to see our new refill bar, showroom, and production space all under one roof! We’ll be offering a complimentary (made-in-house) gift with any purchase (while supplies last).

If you are not an insider yet but would like to attend this event, please join our club! You can register for free (follow link in bio).

Following this soft open is our GRAND OPENING WEEKEND (Sat & Sun 9/19-20, 11am - 3pm) and we’d love to see you back! Two other new businesses will be opening up alongside us on these dates - moonflowernm and theenchantedboxcar

We’ll be celebrating each other and our communal space 9/19-20 with plastic-free prize giveaways, food vendors, and more!

Please join us September 19th & 20th for the first wave of openings happening at Corrales’s newest mixed-use space!

Three of six locally-owned businesses inhabiting this revived historical property will open on this weekend:

moonflowernm
theenchantedboxcar
The Village Refillery

Each will be raffling off prize baskets with items from their collections, and we’ll have food and drinks on hand from Con Alma Micro-Bakery and Shari Knight

Phase two will bring a restaurant, outdoor play space, and more retail, so follow along The Station • Corrales, NM to keep up with future happenings and the eventual Grand opening!

The Station is a space where neighbors of all ages can gather for intentional connection. Rooted in the idea of slow living, the site is designed for everyday moments that foster a sense of belonging and togetherness - a place to catch up with friends over coffee, bring the kids for an outdoor play date, shop for sustainable essentials, read a book on the patio, or get your hands messy during a gardening or crafting workshop.  This space is our investment in a vibrant, sustainable future for the community we love and we can’t wait to share it with you!

You can tell a lot about a business from its bathroom.

The WC isn’t just where staff & customers do their business, it’s a place to wash hands, change clothes when accidents happen, take medications, powder your nose or your baby’s bottom, pump, or privately freshen up.

It’s a little silly how excited we are to have our own bathroom in our new space! But as a manufacturer of bathroom amenities (and a group of women and mothers), we love that we get to make this space exactly what we want and need it to be!

If you have any diapers, wipes, tampons, or pads you no longer need and could help us stock this space with backup supplies for when emergency strikes, please DM us.

Our beautiful wood sign did NOT come from Amazon or even Etsy, but from local artist Amanda Wageman Lawson who is oh so good at laser cutting! Hit her up if you’re in need of retail signage.

Meet Suzy, who created a place where women thrive together through communal movement and a sense of belonging.

Workouts at Barre3 in Albuquerque will make your arms, core, and b***y stronger than ever. But the real perk? The people you’ll meet who cheer you on in being the most powerful version of your authentic self.

Why Suzy’s studio over other spots? She knows health is never about shrinking yourself, and is more than how you move your body - it’s also what your body is exposed to. We can’t control everything we come into contact with, but studio owners can be intentional about the products they stock.

Thank you Suzy for stocking your studio with amenities from The Village Refillery

Within the barre3 ABQ studio, you’ll find our alcohol-free mat spray (safe for your mat and your skin), our Castile hand soap, and our botanical body lotion!

We had a lovely time popping up in their studio, meeting new people and sharing our

Get ready to refill!

Construction is wrapping up. WiFi is on! Final inspections are happening and once permits are issued, we’re ready to roll.

That said, we are probably still a month or so out. 😒

Until then, you can continue to order refills on our website for delivery or pickup in at Grinding Gears Coffee Company which is located The Farm Stand (or for shipping if you’re not local).

A select few (family and friends) are getting a sneak peek and helping us practice our new flow in our new space. We’re eager to share it with you too!

A day in the life…

Behind the pour with Jasper and Lauren!

Despite The Village Refillery still being closed for renovations, we are flying through bar soaps as orders pour in!

Bar soap is the very first product I ever made to sell in our shop. I thought it was a little silly to sell something I viewed as a hobby. I learned to make soap during a college chemistry class. Fast forward 20 years, it’s become my second career and I don’t think I could ever go back to working for hospitals now that my days are spent this way.

While every bar of our handmade soap is unique, they all share the same foundation: our signature base recipe of olive, coconut and castor seed oil plus fair-trade shea butter we source from a small, woman-run cooperative in Ghana.

The botanicals that top our bars come from my personal garden, as well as the gardens of close friends in who generously share their harvests with us (thank you moonflowernm lerickson71 Denise Cavner )

What makes each bar extra special is the creative expression that changes based on the maker. I’ve loved teaching the craft and my individual technique to Jasper. As the very first employee I hired on the production side, Jasper learned to make soap in 2024 and has been a vital part of our soaps’ success ever since. Thank you Jasper for bringing your own artistry to VR and being by my side since the beginning!

I also want to thank Aine of eastside remedios

Aine is what I would call a master soap maker, and she has, over the past few years, generously shared information with me about how she makes their bars. Despite making so many varieties myself, each year I treat myself to several of Aine’s bars because they are so different and totally divine!

While we’re closed, you can order our soaps on our website, or in person at one of our wonderful wholesale partners: HOSTcraft or La Montañita Food Co-op

Always a pleasure delivering of our bulk to La Tierra Sagrada

Like stepping inside an art gallery for a private visit.

Reminds me so much of my grandparents home, which was also in and was filled with art and artifacts from my grandmother’s life growing up on the Navajo reservation and my grandfather’s time stationed in Papua, New Guinea during WWII.

If you’re asked for a recommendation of where to stay in , Tierra Segrada is it! An architectural masterpiece that lies down a quiet alley just steps from the plaza, and whose walls tell authentic stories of New Mexican culture.

It’s coming…

Lots happening behind closed doors as we prepare to open. Our production side is fully built and now we’re working on the retail buildout. Little touches are starting to make it feel like home.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back in. We’ve missed you dearly!
