We are open Labor Day from 9-2.

Due to the air quality, we will be closing at 1 PM today.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but today might not be the best day to get growing.

We don’t currently have the lettuce bowls in the picture but we will grow some for fall sales.

Lettuce is best when grown cool.
It is sweeter this way.

Don’t be afraid to start your own about mid August and it should finish around the end of September/mid October.

If you properly grow your own you’ll know that it is safe.

As many of you know, I have not been working a lot the past six months. During that time someone has had to pick up my slack.

Every weekend Josh, Donna and Kaycee have taken my shift to make sure that everything is properly watered and healthy.

This past weekend, Kaycee brought her son because she did not have childcare for a few hours Saturday morning. She didn’t ask. She brought him and took care of what she needed to take care of.
When I found this out, I ask one of the other people to make sure he had a little bit of money for his time spent at work.

I am so grateful for these people.

We can grow nothing without them having our backs over and over again.

BTW this young man has been to our store dozens of times before his mom started working with us.
