🚨 Important announcement.
Hello, everyone! I just wanted to let you know that we will be closed this Tuesday 9.8, Wednesday 9.9 and Thursday 9.10. I’m traveling to Southern Ohio to teach and host a trunk show. I apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience it may cause. I’ll be back in the shop next Tuesday 9.15, ready to welcome you all.

According to the World Wide Web, “gone fishing” is an idiomatic phrase that refers to someone being away, unavailable, or taking a break from work and daily responsibilities. That’s exactly what we are doing. We are eating pie for breakfast, organizing, making halters for toy cows out of Sue Spargo eleganza perle cotton, stitching, and daydreaming before school begins and we get back to the grind.

Please take note that the shop will be closed on Tuesday, August 18, Wednesday, August 19, and Thursday, August 20! I will return to the shop on Tuesday, August 24, at 10 a.m. Until then, I will be digging worms 🤭😂😘!

It feels strange to have a day where I can stay in my PJs, watch my favorite movies (The Saint and You’ve Got Mail), and hand-embroider away. Jaye and Josh are barbecuing a chicken, and I will eventually get out of this chair to prepare some sides for supper. July was unforgettable, and while August promises to be a little calmer, it will still be busy. There has been a lot of planning, finishing, and dreaming, but today is all about rest. I can’t believe it’s already August.
I hope you’re surrounded by your favorite things too! Just a reminder that I will be in the shop next weekend. I hope to see you there! 😊
