After a lot of back and forth over whether or not to have this event, regrettably we have decided to cancel the August Flea Market. Primarily due to the lack of interest from our vendors and the many hoops given to us from the Health Department. This is the first year we had planned this particular event so there was already a lot of uncertainty before adding the Covid 19 curve ball.

Basically, in our eyes the risk outweighs the rewards. Plus, we know that the pandemic is only temporary.

As of now we are NOT cancelling the Corydon Extravaganza in October. With that being said, there is no guarantee at this time. We expect to have a decision made before October 1st.

We are forever grateful for everyone who has participated in all of our events in any shape or form over the years. We love our community and cannot wait to see you all again.

I just wanted to take a minute to let everyone know what's going on.
We are working diligently with the Harrison County Health Dept. to have this event in a safe manor. Together we are coming up with some guidelines to keep everyone safe and happy at our event. We understand that these types of markets are the bread and butter to a lot of vendors. We also understand that a lot of things have been canceled and shoppers are looking for things to do. So, with that being said, please know that we are doing everything possible to make this event happen.
We submitted our first event guideline last week after the new Indiana Governor mandates. We are tweaking that plan to make sure it fits all safety standards put into place by the state. We hope that we will be able to announce the official green light soon.

Want a cheap Spring Break Activity to get the family out of the house? Why not play a little historical Scavenger Hunt!

Rules-
-There are 20 locations listed, all can be found in Corydon, IN. However, you are not required to find them all. Locations marked with ** don't include their names. You will have to figure them out using the clues.

-Take a picture of the historical locations and/or markers! We want you to have a little fun with this. So, if you don't like selfies get creative! Take a photo of pet, favorite stuffed animal, Flat Stanley (CES) or even a garden gnome.

-Once you are done exporing, create an album and post your photos to Facebook, Instagram or both tagging us

-Play it safe! Make sure to take photos at a safe distance from others and the road.

-Most importantly, have fun, get out of the house and explore! Separate from all the crazy media and turn off those tablets and TVs!

-Want to make a day of it? Pack a lunch! Great picnic areas are listed.

-Locations list can be printed.
