After three incredible years, I’ve made the difficult decision that Pink Friday Weekend will not be returning and we are bringing this chapter to a close.
What started as a last minute idea in 2023 that I planned in 3 short weeks, grew into something so much bigger over the last 3 years because of all of you! From the vendors and small business owners to every person who attended, shopped, supported, and shared in the experience year after year — THANK YOU for helping make this event such a special tradition for myself and our local community!
While this chapter is coming to a close, I look back on the last 3 years and am so grateful for all the memories, connections, and support that this event has brought.
My hope through Pink Friday Weekend was that you found a reason to support your local community small businesses in this ever-changing economy.
It is stated that a dollar spent at a small business in your local community turns over SEVEN times! It doesn’t just leave town. That is so important to our local community! Small businesses keep towns ALIVE - I hope that you continue to support them during all seasons.
These last 3 years far exceeded anything I could have imagined Pink Friday Weekend would’ve turned out to be. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to this event, I’m choosing to look back with gratitude for all that it was, rather than sadness that it’s ending.
THANK YOU, Corydon, for being a part of this journey and for making Pink Friday Weekend a success year after year. The memories from this event will always hold a special place in my heart.
All My Love,
Jessie Saunders🩷
