Our Place Smoky Mountain bookstore located in Cosby, TN, with both new and used books, coffee & cool stuff! Come & see for yourself.

We feature approx. 100,000+ new, used, & rare books, in all genres. We specialize in mostly nonfiction, serious books for book diehards, but we also carry the usual in bestsellers, classics & everything else. We love cookbooks, craftbooks, kid's books, history, the sciences, religions & more. We also carry DVD's, CD's, Boyd's bears, Smoky Mountain souvenirs, T-shirts, mugs, local honey, jams & jel

lies, organic & healthy snacks, & whatever else we think is interesting. And did I mention exceptional organic, fair-trade coffees & teas that you can get fresh all day long, both by the cup & by the pound? Did I mention we are AWESOME (so we've been told!)

Even though we are in a tourist area, we pride ourselves on low prices on EVERYTHING. We've been told MANY times that we should raise our prices, but we feel we make a fair living by offering quality items at great prices. Generally speaking, we are open 7 days a week. We are USUALLY open by about 9 am, but sometimes earlier, sometimes later. In the summer, we can be open until 8, 9, or sometimes 10 pm. In the winter, when the roads are deserted, we might close at 3 or 4 pm, but usually by about 5 or 6. In other words, we are open most all the time, but if in doubt, call first if you are coming in from out of town. Please check our website for more information.
