We received 8” on our East Ridge snowstake cam overnight (see it for yourself at the link in bio)!

We are seeing heavier snow up top with rain at the Village level currently. Mid Mountain has been a mix of both. Fingers crossed the forecasted colder temperatures are true for the end of this storm. We are hoping this refresh will set up good conditions to maintain our current terrain for the end of the week as we head towards closing day on April 5 ❄️❄️❄️

We wrapped up the day with 10” of new snow at our mid-mountain snow stake and more on the way ❄️

The snow we’ve received so far is fairly heavy, which is ideal for filling in low-coverage areas + building a more stable, right-side-up snowpack. If the forecast holds, we should see decreased snow levels and some lower-density snow over the next few days.

Please continue to watch for unmarked hazards as snow accumulates, check the Caltrans website for current road conditions + chain controls, and ENJOY THE SNOW!

Current scenario shows cold air drops just north or near Tahoe, PNW and Rockies. Widespread snowfall in the PNW and Rockies possible. Tahoe looks moist but temps might keep rain at lower elevations. It is too early to forecast details. ❄️⛷️🏂 keep you snow tires on!
