I work on ALL makes and models of 5-string, tenor, plectrum, banjo-ukes and mandolin-banjos. Brand new banjos benefit SO much with a proper set-up, from a 40 year pro player who understands the instrument, and who can deliver to you ease of playing, and performance from your investment. Here’s a before and after shot of one of the Style 5’s in the shop this week. Gibson Prewar period Gold plating was touted to be “triple Gold plated” on certain models, and on this banjo, I’m convinced it is true. I often see these amazing results on other Prewar Gold plated Mastertone banjos. Labor intensive, but the results are worthy of the extra work and cost, IMO.

Some really FINE banjos coming through the shop for setups, new heads, bridges, and a fresh, powerful sound for their owners to enjoy!!! Bishline and Sullivan banjos are “top quality” banjos that offer the best of craftsmanship and sound to the player!
Stelling of course, has been a favorite of mine since 1980, when I was a Sunny Mt Boy! Thanks for bringing these great banjos to my shop, so we can experience their full potential in sound and playability! Cush

Always a pleasure to visit with my old friend Chris Pandolfi, and hear his unique ideas unfold. Here he is in my shop playing my “DeLuxe” prewar flathead Style 3, that I’ve used on so many shows and recordings through the years. Chris, and that Style 3 both have a “sound all their own”.
