🌿 We’re Hiring a Grant Manager!

Friends of the Verde River is looking for a Grant Manager to help advance conservation across the Verde River watershed. This role will support the grants, budgets, and systems that keep our restoration, stewardship, and education programs moving forward.

We’re seeking an organized, collaborative professional with experience in grants, budgets, or nonprofit funding. This is a full-time, exempt position with competitive compensation and excellent benefits. Hybrid work is available for candidates in the Verde Valley, with remote options possible for those with strong relevant experience.

I want to thank everyone who came out for CREMA'S After Hours event tonight. VERDE life+ style set up to give a sneak peek of some items before our mid-June opening. I can say that it was a success, we made several sales and introduced people to the our new business opening up in Old Town.. our sister store, Bananas in Old Town is still offering up fun at the other end of Main St, so don't forget to visit us there too!
Once we have an open date, we will announce and invite everyone to come see us.

Announcement! Hi everyone! I don't yet have a page set up, I've been working hard to get our newest store open. VERDE life + style is just down the block from Bananas in Old Town at 921 N. Main. We anticipate opening mid- June and we couldn't be more excited! VERDE will be our sister gift store with an emphasis on beautiful home and kitchen decor. We will also have baby items, cards, puzzles and other gifts.
We're going to be at Crema for their after hours pop up event from 4-8 tonight, to give people the opportunity to get a sneak peek at what we have to offer!
Come say hi and have some fun at Crema!

As an Air Force brat while growing up and the daughter of a true American hero, who served his country with honor while captive in the Hanoi Hilton in Vietnam, Memorial Day is a day where I take some time to send out prayers and thanks to all Americans who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms. While we all enjoy our day shopping, eating and spending time with friends, please take a minute to remember the reason for this day.
