If you think “barber-pole” is just a look, think again, the Pepper-Head shows you exactly why its construction matters before a single draw. It’s visually striking and promises more than just a quick smoke.

First Impressions:
This stick sits firm in the hand with a smooth, well-rolled feel. The wrapper has a subtle oily sheen and the classic Isabela sweet-tipped cap gives that gentle rounded sweetness on cold draw, don’t be alarmed, it disappears quickly once lit.

Flavor Journey:
Right out of the gate, you’ll notice pepper dancing up front — light at first, then richer as the smoke opens up. Behind that spice, cocoa and coffee notes lend depth, followed by cedar and a surprising hint of maple-syrup aroma on the finish. It doesn’t overwhelm, it balances.

Early third: Creamy sweetness, pepper, coffee, cedar

Second third: Pepper ramps up, cinnamon in the aroma, woody and slightly licorice nuances

Final third: Spice grows, still balanced with syrupy undertones and textured complexity

Draw & Burn:
The draw starts a tad snug but opens up as you work through it. Burn is generally solid, though if you rest too long it can go out, just puff regularly and it stays happy.

Strength & Body:
Medium to medium-full, substantial enough to be interesting, but not so heavy it feels like it fights you.

Overall Verdict:
This is not a one-note cigar. The Pepper-Head delivers a thoughtful blend of spice and sweet complexity throughout its journey. Definitely worth a sit-down smoke where you can appreciate the transitions.
