We give you 5 cards + a Commander, and you build a 100-card Commander deck around them—must be built as a bracket 3, nothing higher! Then, on August 28th, we’ll battle it out in pods of 4 for the last champion standing. Win your pod, and you earn a pack and go on to the next pod, till there is only one left standing! Plus, we’ll be giving out special promos and prizes throughout the night, making it a night full of epic plays and rewards. We are highly suggesting that people sign up early to be able to properly build their decks and be checked by one of the employees!

Let's talk Hobbit Play Boosters.

We were one of the stores effected by the shipping shortage from Wizards of the Coast. As such, we received absolutely zero play boosters for this set, and per Wizards latest email we aren't expecting to have any until September.

To say we're bummed is an understatement, as I'm sure everyone else is as well.

We have managed to secure a small amount of boosters through the kindness of other local game stores in our network. At this time however we still don't have enough packs to sell to the public. For time being we are going to allocate some of the packs to our initial singles stock to help folks get the specific cards they're looking for and setting all of the rest aside for prizing at our weekly events.

Players participating in Commander nights, Standard Showdowns, and any other MTG in store event will be able to choose Hobbit Play Boosters as their packs for entry/prizing until supply runs out. We anticipate having enough to last us until the full stock comes from Wizards, but we cannot guarantee anything obviously.

Thank you for your patience with this situation, we were really looking forward to a lot of stuff in this set and it's a bummer to only partially be able to get ahold of it.
