The Gun Cave is unofficial name for my shop. I started in 2010 as a Verizon Wireless authorized agent under the trade name of Modoc Wireless in Alturas Ca. As the years passed, I began to transition from a cellular phone shop to a firearm shop towards the end of 2011. Over the course of Ca changing laws, restricting products and essentially making it less convenient for shop owners, I have stuck with it finding a way to keep the doors open. Mid 2018, I relocated to Cottonwood Ca. and have decided to keep the legal trade name as Modoc Wireless and keep the Gun Cave as an unofficial name for now.
This change is all for the best, as new opportunities for my family and I brought us here. I do work a full time job outside of this to be sure I am able to provide for my family. I will work with your schedule which breaks the burden of having to stick to the 9-5 rush that many shops operate by. I am usually available for appointments most days of the week. I will also be in the shop Thursdays 9:30 - 4 and Fridays 9:00 to 3:00. I will also occasionally be in the shop on Saturdays which will usually be posted on my page prior.
I carry an inventory and as I learn the area I will carry the products that my customers use. I am open to suggestions. If you are looking for specifics in your fi****ms I can special order most. Keep in mind some manufacturers won’t sell to the small shops. I do not sell online and I will do my best to remain competitive with my prices. Keep us in mind for your firearm and ammunition wants and needs.
